Cass Lake Ice Fishing report 12/19/05
The ice is at about 12 inches where the ice shacks are with about 3 inches of snow on the ice. Fishing has been a little slow with some perch and a few walleyes coming in. One walleye caught at about 5:30 p.m. measured 24 1/2 inches and weighed about 5.5 lbs. and was released. Other walleyes are in the 14 to 16 inch range on a minnow. Perch have been in the 7 to 10 inch size, Looks like a stable week of weather hopefully things will pick up.
Have a good day of fishing.
